The 2023 Hurricane names
Working away at the debris in the pool. We have a long way to go before we will have a useable pool, but the project is started.
The Elevator Crew will be on site next week to start assessing parts and replacing and/or repairing the parts as needed. This project will take several weeks. At a future date we will need to repair/replace the main pistons of the elevators. We are waiting for parts but hope to have one elevator functioning (without the new pistons). We can later install the pistons one at a time allowing the operation of at least one elevator.
At this time we do not expect to have to replace the entire pool. But we will need to repair and clean up the sides and bottom of the pool. Fingers crossed it will not require a complete overhaul.
May 1 marks the official start of turtle season. There are several nests already present! The sea turtle nesting season on our Gulf Coast runs from May through October.
Perhaps there has been a misunderstanding about the status of our roof and the covering over the air conditioning lines. The roof is fully secured and there are no leaks associated with the roof or the covers for the air conditioning lines.
We have several permanent "swan neck" covers but we have a couple of temporary covers until we get the remaining custom made covers. There are temporary covers which consist of multiple layers of protection over the air conditioning lines. They are sealed and have been checked, NO WATER IS COMING FROM THE ROOF. Soon we will have the permanent covering. |
