Vote at The Board Meeting
There were three items put to a vote.

1. Should any surplus association funds over and above the amounts used for the operation of the association be carried forward and applied to the following year’s assessment and not be treated as taxable income in the year of assessment in accordance with Revenue Ruling 70-604?
       Passed with one dissent

2. Should the reserves required by §718.112(2)(f), Florida Statutes, be waived for the 2021 fiscal year?
       Unanimous NO votes

3. Under Florida Statutes, an association with total annual revenues between $300,000 and $500,000 shall prepare a reviewed financial statement for the current fiscal year. The members may vote to waive the statutory requirement for a review for three consecutive years, but during the fourth year, the review must be conducted. A review was completed in 2017 for the 2016 fiscal year. Should the required 2019 fiscal year review be waived in favor of a report of cash receipts and expenditures as prepared by management?
       Passed with one dissent
