Trash and Recycle
TRASH
We have 2 trash chutes on floors 2-8, located next to each elevator. On the ground floor you may access the garbage cans via the garage doors at the south and north ends of the building.
Please bag all garbage and tie each trash bag to avoid spillage in the chute. Please use garbage bags and NOT polyethylene store bags. The store bags split and trash is scattered down the trash shoot and may attract bugs and rodents.
RECYCLE
We have blue recycle bins located on the ground floor behind white fencing. They are located near the gate to the beach on each end of the building. Please see the list below of items that can be recycled in these bins.
SCHEDULE FOR PICKUP
January 1st to April 30th
Recycling: Monday and Thursday
Trash pickup: Monday and Thursday
May 1st to December 31st
Recycling: Thursday
Trash pickup: Monday and Thursday
NOTE: Only one chute will be open during the off season.
We will alternate each year between the south chute and the north chute unless we need to make reasonable accommodations for infirm occupants.

Disposal of Chemicals
The Lee County Solid Waste Division has opened its permanent Household Chemical Waste Collection facility on 6441 Topaz Court (off Metro Pkwy) for operation.
Residents may now dispose of household chemical waste between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday and every first Saturday of the month from 8 am to 12 Noon. The facility will be closed on holidays observed by Lee County.
