Debris

10/26/2017

We have a great deal of debris stacked by the side of the street.  Use care when exiting and entering CB1 because drivers are unable to have a clear view of the street.

The Pool is open and being used.

The south elevator has a new electrical panel.

We have power washed the pool deck.

We have cleaned up the debris on the beach

All exit signs and security lights have been replace and are in good working order

Many more projects to come...

Sept 16, 2017 Clean up continues

The trees are getting trimmed and will begin to heal soon.  Several owners are working around the building.  Checking units, overseeing repairs, cleaning up sand and brush, sweeping and cleaning.   We have a long way to  but with so many hands we are making good progress. BIG THANKS to friend/neighbors/contractor: Jo Ellen, Jim, Pat, Shirley, Kim, Bill, Ken, Elson and Josh and so many others.

Pool update 9/15/2017 4:30 central

The Pool Shop has serviced our pool.  The "recovery" will take about a week.  Today they cleaned out some of the debris and tested the Chlorine, PH and Alkalinity of the water.  They added chemicals and started the pool pump.  The pool pump seems to be working.
BUT the pool is closed until we can verify there are not any foreign objects (such as glass, metal, nails...our grill) in the pool before anyone will be allowed to swim.

I am slow posting this one:

Lee County Utilities lifts precautionary boil water notice.

Lee County Utilities is lifting the precautionary boil water notice for all Lee County Utilities customers.

CURFEW
The curfew has been lifted for all areas of Lee County except the Village of Estero, City of Bonita Spring and those areas that fall within the Lehigh Acres Fire District. Curfew in those three places remains 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. until further notice.

Trash pickup - 9/13/2017 - For Residential customers -- not sure for commercial (?) customers.

9/13/2017

Trash pick-up is occurring where trucks can get through. Lee County Solid Waste has resumed normal schedule days for residential customers for household waste only. Another update will be forthcoming on debris removal.

South Elevator Not working 9/13/2017 6:30 central -

9/13/2017

Thyssen Krupp should arrive in the morning to service the elevator.  The north elevator is working but the roof cap is missing and rain may not agree with the function of the elevator.

Sept 13th 2:00 central - Summary

9/13/2017

With the help of Elson Goulart and Josh with Southern Custom Windows and on of our favorite residents all of the units have been checked in the building.

We have damage to 303 / 705 / 704 / 707 / 805 ... Our guess is flying debris cause the damage to the shutters and in turn to the windows.  We have water in these units but very little in most of them.  We have glass breakage in all 5 of the affected units.

We also found that we had some water at or near each entry door.  Our guess is the threshold or door deal is not air/water tight.  Perhaps a symptom of this issues is the "whistling" we hear when we have high winds.  This is a problem each unit owner should research and repair at some time in the future.

Several units with shutters have very wet rugs on their lanai.  I think time will take care of this issue.

We have TV / Internet and Electricity

We have TV and Internet as of this afternoon 9/12/2017 -- We are still in the process of checking all units and contacting owners with damage

9/12/2017

Many of the units have a small amount of water on the entry way rugs.  We are not really concerned about this problem if you have air conditioning and no other issues.   We will try to work out a solution after the major issues have been addressed.   The following units have broken glass and water:  507 / 704 / 707 / 805 / 303.  All of the breakage is on the "street" side of the building (guest bedrooms or dining room on 07 units).    We have checked floors 3-8 (except 407/806).   We will begin checking units again early tomorrow.   It is rather time consuming because we check all rooms of each unit looking specifically for damage and water on the ceiling and floor and glass on the floor.  Then we open the refrigerator and verify it is working and then check the temperature in the unit to ensure the air is running.  We will finish Floors 1 and 2 tomorrow.

ROOF DAMAGE:
Unit 806 air conditioning unit lost the metal cover - Bruno Air will check the unit tomorrow.

We are also missing the "goose neck" coverings on all the pipes on the roof.   Our North Elevator Cap is gone (we hope to have the Roofing company at our building Wednesday, Sept 13th.

We have a lot of broken glass on the walkways of the building.  We are hoping to have cleaners in the building ASAP.
