Bonita Beach Club—9:30 a.m.   Report from John Swan
Good Morning BBC residents (from John Swan-Resident)
  1. The beach seems to be in good shape.
  2. The pool deck is full of sand and probably sand in the pool, but the fence, gates and hut seem to be ok.
  3. The boat slips seem to be intact.The water came up to the fishing pier.Some of the boats have lost tarps and some have moved on the lifts a bit.
  4. Dumpsters behind A and D are damaged.
  5. There has been no power outage.But there is no internet and no TV
  6. The entrance gates have been damaged.
  7. A lanai on 7th floor between B and C has been damaged.
  8. Many trees in courtyard are without leaves.Some trees are down.

This is Lisé from Gulf Harbor. We had an update from one of our owners who took shelter but was able to get to Hickory Island today. In summary, it doesn't appear that there was storm surge damage (the island didn't submerge)... We have minimal power in our building. There was damage to screens and some water got in to some windows (reported only from the one unit at this time). Outside, they reported no broken glass. The pool deck / pavers were intact and the pool itself didn't have sand but other debris. There was no report on our docks so am assuming they are all there!
