Update from Lee County DOT and Lee County Emergency Management:
Additional bridges have been cleared by Lee County DOT for travel:
Midpoint Bridge (Cape Coral-Fort Myers)
Cape Coral Bridge (Cape Coral-Fort Myers)
Big Hickory Pass Bridge (Bonita Beach area)
It’s anticipated all Lee County DOT bridges will have had structural reviews by Tuesday morning.
Note: Prior to Hurricane Irma, Lee County suspended tolls for its three toll bridges; that suspension remains in effect until further notice.
Road update from Lee DOT:
All Lee County-maintained arterial roads (major thoroughfare) and collector streets (roads that deliver traffic to arterials) will be cleared and passable by 1 p.m., although some roads may have standing water issues.
