It has taken months, but we now have a better picture of the total damage to our building.  Although flood and water played a part in the damage to the building the claim for Wind damage is greater than that of the flood and water. 
Why is the building uninhabitable

You will need the "Alternate Key" from your tax bill.  This is a number with 17 characters and numbers.    

If you don't have this information, you may visit the Lee County Real Estate site by clicking the button below this message.  

There is a series of questions you must answer.  These questions are regarding the Condo Building not specific to your unit.  

For example it will ask, Is there damage to your property?  The lady at the Assessor's office said this refers to the Condo building so you must enter YES. 
​Then a question Why is your property is uninhabitable?  This is due to Flood and Wind damage to our building.  


You will need to furnish a copy of our letter from Vesta stating the building is uninhabitable. (See below)
